It starts off as a single shield in front, then upgrading to multiple similar sized shields all across EGG10000's body, finally ending off at the full body circular shield. The shield varies depending on EGG10000's HP. However upon reaching low health the only shield casted will cover the EGG10000's entire body, forcing you to focus on dodging and making the Laser Turrets shoot it until it is destroyed. Most of the shields can be avoided by throwing a bomb around them, usually above them. Shield - After taking a few hits, the EGG10000 will cast a shield over itself to protect itself from bombs.
After a short duration of time the entire floor will emit an electric burst, forcing the player to hide in the center of the arena to avoid damage. Rotating Turrets - After taking a few hits, a cylindrical 4-barreled Turret will begin to move around the arena on a rail, spinning while firing 4 sprays of bullets outwards before sitting idly for a short duration of time.Įlectric Floor - After taking a few hits the EGG10000 will route electricity into the floor on a timer, causing the floor to slowly glow red as an electricity sound plays. These sit idly somewhere in the arena and will occasionally shoot 25 bullets at you, they can be destroyed by forcing the Laser Turrets to shoot them. The Turret will then fire, and after the laser's impact it will lock onto the player again.Įgg Turrets - After taking a few hits, the EGG10000 will spawn Egg Turrets when damaged. They'll lock onto the player with a red beam which can be used to both tell where they are and when they'll shoot, as when they do so the beam will no longer lock on and shrink away. Laser Turrets - During the fight the EGG10000 will active up to 5 Laser Turrets sticking out of the wall, each activated upon harming the EGG10000.
Most of which have an electric particle effect and cannot be picked up while some do not and instead have a red glow, picking these up and throwing them at the EGG10000 is your main way of damaging the boss. Failing to do so causes your health to permanently drain until you die, losing the battle.īombs - The EGG10000 will constantly drop bombs during the fight. Neurotoxin - Staring the fight the EGG10000 will vent Neurotoxins into the room that will slowly kill the Player, forcing you to defeat him in 8 minutes. There are also signs around the lab that have a similar purpose.
Upon entering the Egg Lair the player is brought to a test area in an abandoned lab, walking forward reveals an area with a few walls and Egg Turrets that can kill the player if they have line of sight, aswell as a room with a Laser Turret and a button, pressing the button causes the Laser Turret to fire, first destroying a shield, then an Egg Turret. It is based on the EGG9000 from Egg Hunt 2017 and GLADOS/Wheatley from Portal. EGG10000 was a Boss in Midnight Horrors, being added in Version 1.40.0 (Easter 2022).
